Anyway that’s my rant over with back to the knife, I love the axis lock as it’s so easy to operate one handed and it’s very simple to oil and keep clean so it’s low maintenance which is cool but I ,Iike to disassemble my knives and properly clean them and do general maintenance and I love that Benchmade don’t use red lock tight because I think if you buy something you should know how it works and how to maintain it and have the right to maintain it your self if you are competent enough so Benchmade is great at sending out a new spring here and there if one breaks and they should be applauded for this because other big named manufactures use red lock tight and won’t send replacement parts (you know who you are !
